The owners of ARNHOLDT & SOHN, father Horst and son Thorsten Dörr, turned the philosophy of a fatherly friend into their personal mantra for life: “No is not an option”. This idea runs like a thread throughout the entire history and development of this traditional company, which was built up on foundations laid down by their grandfather and father.
ARNHOLDT & SOHN is a family-owned company, in which social involvement plays a key role. Managing Director Thorsten Dörr, his wife Christiane, as well as Mr and Mrs Dörr senior take time to listen to their employees’ problems and concerns, and then frequently help them. This creates a highly motivated and effective team that represents an important cornerstone of the company. Many of their employees can look back on decades of experience. Employees undergo continuous training and skilled professionals, like Master Joiners, are used to improve the level of quality in the company. Thanks to its in-house joinery workshop, ARNHOLDT & SOHN is able to construct complicated non-standard packaging, both for overseas transport, works of art and antiques, and kitchen installations and modifications to furniture do not present a problem for the five-strong joinery team.
